Documental: Rico Rodriguez - The Legacy

The phonograph starts to spin. The stylus falls softly over the vinyl record and life starts to play again that notes full of memories, difficulties, faith, travels and experiences. The life of Rico Rodriguez and the life of jamaican music are two faces of the same coin. They are like two parallel lines that passed through the time and the place. In the documentary “Rico Rodriguez – The Legacy” the time is 2006 and the place is Barcelona. The old caribbean melodies of the 60’s are performed by young musicians of the millenium, that take with pride the musical and spiritual legacy of this great trombonist. These beatiful melodies become the perfect soundtrack to review the biography of one of the most humble and compromised legends of jamaican music.

Exhibition: Reggae Art Ist Ciscoksl

Always linked to the national reggae scene, member founding of the first sound system in Lleida, Ponent One, and collaborator and designer of one of the seniors festivals of state, "Finos Reggae". Ciscoksl creates now Reggae ARTist.
Reggae ARTist is a homage to the Jamaican music and her culture. The first decades of the reggae, their artists, singers, producers,their life... they are the motives of these pictures on the oil, carried out about wood.

Nowa "On da beach"

If you feel it like, Saturday afternoon you can to pass  sunbathing and listening good music on the beach. From 17 h., to the begining of the festival, several Dj's will pass through the dishes of the "Xiringuito del Trillas" (placed on the same "Platja del Far") to show us their collections.
