Brusco Italy
Giovanni Miraldi, also know as Brusco began him artistic career singing in Soundsystems parties promoting by One Love Hi Pawa when he was 15 years old in the Forte Prenestion, an historic social centre in Roma. It was at 90’s when the first music group was created principally focusing on rap music and going with the students movements of that years. Brusco started singing with who was him classmate (today known like a rap artists called “Chef Ragù”) and him began at “Vatican Posse” with the name “Papa Giovanni”. During the first two years that musical combination get the knowledge in the massive thanks to the energic live and them become a very famous group in the capital.
Brusco changes him name calling himself “Papa G” at 1992, he joined to Villada Posse Crew, a musical group formed by a lot of friends that met very often at Roman Parc called Villa Ada. Brusco published a cassette at 1993 and also a cd three years after. They become a culture music for all of the italian reggae massive that, after that they could start an Italy tour around all the country with a lot of supporters in every gig.
Brusco become to Brusco at 2000 and begin him solitary career. At the begining he release singles and combinations with another reggae and hip hop artists from Italy, Brusco recorded for the next year him first LP called “Brusco” where there are songs like “Ancora Ancora” dedicated to A.S. Roma, that song become a big song that receive a good expectation from a big audience, as radio as television. Since that days Brusco haven’t stopped him works because in 6 month he released 6 singles for the next LP “Si fa presta a dire... Brusco” at 2003 where the big song could be “Sotto i raggi di sole”. Brusco went to diferent tv programs thanks to that album. However Brusco have never wanted to lose the contact with the thinks that keep him grow and always he have been next to the social movements, social centers, cheapest concerts and accesible to everybody.
Brusco released him third LP “Amore Vero” at 2006 and became a really hits underground without the promotion of the biggest radios. Songs like “l’herba de la Giovenezza”, Sangue Sangue” or “Roma Torn Rasta” were the hits in that LP. That album qualificated Brusco like a one of the most important singers in the new age.
Right now Brusco has released him new album called “Quatroemezzo” and for sure that everybody like that.
